has been in business since 1994 when it started out as a full service recording and production facility. As Backstage started supplying more gear to its clientele the focus began to change and eventually the company started to offer complete backline and sound system production and eventually morphed fulltime into a backline rental and event production company in 2003.
Backstage has always focused on the service side of the business and has a long standing history of going the extra mile for its clients. Over the years, many companies come and go but Backstage has grown with the changes in technology and continues to thrive. Our techs show up for each job with one thing in mind and that is 100% customer satisfaction. Every client is handled with care and we treat our gear in the same fashion. Regular service maintenance is performed on the gear and tested before and after it leaves the shop.
For backline rentals, we have been the sole supplier for the Midpoint Music Festival, one of the premiere independent music festivals in North America with nearly 300 bands using our gear in one long weekend. Countless other clients have used us whether it be for one-off gigs when coming into town, or various special events when traveling with their own gear is not an option. Others use our gear when they’re looking for that “special sound” on a recording project.
